Gardner-Harvey Library provides computers for the use of students, faculty, and staff of the University. This statement outlines the policy regarding use of computers in the Library.

Gardner-Harvey Library provides computers for patrons to access the multitude of electronic resources available in both the Library and through the Internet. As with printed materials, our Library endorses the Library Bill of Rights and the Freedom to Read statement of the American Library Association and, in so doing, does not practice censorship.

No sites are blocked because of content, but the staff reserves the right to ask patrons to be considerate about displaying visual material that may be offensive to other library users. Our Library does not review and has no control over the information accessed and cannot be held responsible for the content or quality of the information retrieved.

The primary use of computers on the main floor of the Library is to provide access to library related materials for research purposes. Class related library assignments and research will receive top priority.
